Meet the Team

 ​Hello! My name is Dr. Briana Joy Travis, DMD, MA, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with you! I grew up in Northern California, where I spent most of my life before furthering my education to become a dentist. I earned my Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in Arizona in 2019 and graduated from Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine in Illinois with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2023. 

I chose dentistry because I love the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while helping them improve their oral health, relieve discomfort, and feel more confident in their smiles. My approach to dentistry is centered on treating each patient as a person first and a patient second. Before coming to Champaign, I had the privilege of serving underserved communities in rural central Illinois. This experience strengthened my belief that everyone deserves access to compassionate, quality dental care. 

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, who is also a dentist, and our two dogs, a pug and a French bulldog. I love exploring the outdoors through hiking and walking, getting lost in a good book, and trying out new crafts. I look forward to getting to know you and joining the team!
